Welcome to Shining Star
Shining Star Community Church(SSCC) is a Southern Baptist denominational church and is located in the heart of Falls Church, VA. The English Ministry(EM) is a branch within SSCC to reach out and meet the needs of this generation in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
Our vision statement:
"Know and enjoy God. To know Him is to be discipled and make disciples in Christ. To enjoy Him is to glorify Him in Christ."
Our vision is to be a church that:

English Ministry aligns with SSCC’s vision statement by furthering it through acknowledgement of:
- EM loves Jesus’ vision, which is the Kingdom of God
- EM belongs to God’s Kingdom and actively lives in a Kingdom Lifestyle
- EM loves you and prays with you to advance God’s Kingdom
- EM identifies with the 2nd generation to develop Kingdom culture
- EM is empowered by the Holy Spirit in missions, good works and giving
SSCC EM seeks to accomplish this through biblical preaching, teaching, prayer and counseling in an authentic Christian community. Join us for a Sunday worship service at 2:00pm located in the Chapel.
